Cape Verde: why invest?

The country is still a little on the edge of traditional tourist destinations, but its beauty and its peculiar culture – which reminds of the Portuguese colonial period – guarantee a certain growth. The sea is wonderful with its clear waters, the landscape of the islands is varied, the climate is warm all year round, so staying rapt with your eyes and your heart is easy.

Boa Vista, Maio, and Sal are beaten by warmer winds from the Sahara and have a drier climate.

The most mountainous Sao Nicolau, Fogo, and Santiago in the rainy season are naturally wetter. The archipelago of Cape Verde enjoys the sun all year round and the trade winds maintain temperatures between 23 ° and 30 °, with very few exceptions. Fish is always abundant and varied: tuna, swordfish, lobster, groupers and many other species … Deep-sea fishing enthusiasts will be fully satisfied.

The Island of Sal (island of salt) has become the major tourist destination in Cape Verde. The constant wind makes it one of the best destinations in the world for lovers of surfing, kite surfing, and windsurfing.

It is in Sal the most important airport in the archipelago, and it is often a must to reach the other islands. Italy is connected to Sal by the flag company “Cabo Verde Airlines”. In the Republic of Cape Verde, there are no ethnic and religious conflicts or problems of crime and malfeasance. The Republic is a real democracy with elections by universal suffrage every 4 years. Health facilities are of a good standard and there are no endemic diseases. The right to “full ownership” is in force: whoever buys a property is therefore fully the owner and can sell it when he wants with notary contracts registered at the land registry office. Between Italy and Cape Verde there is then “the reciprocity agreement”, governed by the law of December 29, 1999, No. 527 G. n ° 13 of 18/01/2000. Finally, who are the inhabitants of the archipelago? A welcoming, kind, peaceful population. Large investments by tour operators and numerous groups of investors in the real estate and infrastructure sectors are the clear signal of a favorable moment, which anticipates a future rapid and strong growth.
